Synfaring is a leading player in technical inspection and certification, with particular strength in aquaculture, energy and the maritime sector. ExTek is a specialised training company with recognised expertise in international CompEx certification, electrical safety, and Ex and FSE training for the industrial and offshore markets.
The acquisitions follow Baltic Control and Trainor becoming part of Apave in 2023, and OComp in 2026. With Synfaring and ExTek on the team, Apave now has more than 150 employees in Norway and over 230 across Scandinavia.
For Trainor, the acquisitions mean that we become part of an even stronger Nordic professional community with complementary expertise in safety, compliance, certification and risk management. Together with ExTek, Apave also strengthens its position in the CompEx field, where Trainor holds a strong position in digital learning and ExTek brings international CompEx certification.
At the same time, Apave's overall offering is strengthened for customers in energy, industry, aquaculture, maritime operations and other critical infrastructure across the Nordics.
